Pelican Preserve is getting bigger. The Fort Myers course opened its third nine earlier this month, the Ibis, in the 55-and-older community. The Ibis, like the other two sets (the Heron and Egret), was designed by Chip Powell. It has four sets of tees and plays at 3,543 yards from its championship tees.
